State of Alaska Fire and Building Official Forum

The State of Alaska is hosting the 2013 Fire and Building Official Forum in Anchorage
on February 12-13, 2013. The Forum will be held at the new Scientific Crime Detection
Laboratory (map).
Also, following the Forum on February 14-15, the Alaska Central Chapter will be
sponsoring in conjunction with the State of Alaska the 2009 IFC Performing
Commercial Fire Plan Reviews. This is a two-day course on applying the IFC to design,
construction, operation, use and occupancy, including special uses and occupancies, as
well as ties into the IBC provisions.
