2016 ICC Annual Business Meeting Update
Updated: March 22, 2013 | 5:00 p.m.

Since 2007, the Alaska Central Chapter Board of Directors has been actively pursuing
the idea of Anchorage hosting the ICC Annual Business Meeting.

The Chapter has invited many of the members of the Board of Directors and ICC
Executives to Alaska, including Immediate Past President Bill Dupler, Vice President
Steven Jones, former Board members John Darnall and John LaTorra
, and former ICC
CEO Rick Weiland.

We are pleased to say that we have made significant headway with our efforts. As of
February of this year, Anchorage has been short-listed as one of the final cities being
considered for the 2016 ABM!

W
e do not know exactly when ICC will be making the final decision, but we do know
that it should be no later than 2014 (this is based on when Portland was awarded the
hosting honors).

Should Anchorage be selected, we will be needing as much volunteer help from the
membership as possible, but we know that we have a lot of capable people to draw on
for assistance!

As soon as the decision is made, we will let you know!
