Principal and Chief Engineer Founding partner responsible for project management and
technical oversight providing pre-emergency planning, ISO review and submittals, and fire
protection engineering to municipal and private clients, focusing on complex issues.
Conducted safety/performance audit for 5-station county fire department, fire/EMS study of
mid-sized township, life safety reviews of existing facilities, led preplanning effort for major
transportation facilities, millions of square foot of research/production facilities, large finance
corporation campus, 24 facilities of the 3rd largest school district in Pennsylvania, and for a
$150MM high-tech plant in Singapore. Completed a life safety/egress assessment of 158
buildings at a 400 acre chemical plant for VPP compliance. Conducted code compliance
consulting and developed Incident Management plans, training, and tabletop drills. Authored
research paper on residential sprinklers in 6 municipalities in Bucks County, PA. Clients have
included: Ascend Performance Materials; Merck & Co., Inc.; Glaxo SmithKline; Bristol-Myers
Squibb; Capital Health Systems; Goodyear; Genentech; Pepsi Bottling Co.; Advanced Gas
Technologies; Linde; J&J Companies, Montgomery County (PA); The Home Care Network;
the Los Alamos County (NM) Fire Department; as well as many emergency response agencies.

20 domestic sites, and more than 9000 employees.

Senior Project Engineer Responsible for leading global fire protection and emergency
response programs as well as safety programs for 9500 employees. Global EHS auditing team
leader. Safety project lead on design team for $300MM+ vaccine manufacturing facility, and
$45MM+ data center. Safety and Environmental design lead for $215MM pharmaceutical
plant in Singapore. Responsible for coordinating all aspects of safety for 10 sites in Latin
America. Recipient of six Awards for Excellence: leadership of the corporate emergency
management training institute; leadership in the National Fallen Firefighter's Memorial
Weekend; developing and implementing a cost-effective concept of DVD-based industrial
hygiene training program; two for involvement on the Singapore Pharm Facility project team;
and development/delivery of EHS training program for senior management.

Senior Project Engineer, Fire Protection Led fire safety/prevention programs for more than
12 sites, encompassing over 13,000 employees. Oversaw protection for Company’s largest
MFL ($700+ MM) facility. Participated in design teams for expansion projects totaling over 5
million square feet ($2.5 Billion +), including spearheading over 560,000 square feet of
sprinkler retrofits. Provided direct safety support to 8 departments (>1000 employees) at one
site, including leading PHA studies and safety management of over $500 MM of construction
projects simultaneously. Chaired project to specify and accept a 2000 GPM industrial foam
pumper. Served as trainer and safety officer for site fire, EMS and hazmat teams. Recipient of 8
Awards for Excellence: including halon management plan; for helping develop county hazmat
response plan; site and Y2K contingency planning; and fire prevention/safety.

Firefighter, line and administrative officer for fire/rescue companies in Pennsylvania and
Maryland, responding to over 11,000 emergency incidents. Served as Lieutenant, Captain,
Assistant and Deputy Fire/EMS Chief with the Bryn Athyn, PA Fire Company, receiving
Chief’s Awards for 1990, 1992 and 2002. Served as Deputy Emergency Management
Coordinator for Bryn Athyn Borough for 8 years. Led effort to upgrade Fire Co. from BLS to
ALS EMS service. Served as Chief of the Lingohocken Fire Company in Bucks County, PA
from 2008-2014 responsible for managing annual budget of over $250k and long-range plan.
Led effort to reduce the insurance rating for a municipality with no public water from a 9 to a 6.
Responsible for writing numerous successful grants exceeding $500k total. Recipient of 2003
Chief’s Award and the Central Bucks Chamber of Commerce Emergency Services Award for
2005 and 2015. Member of units that have received 8 separate unit citations, and the Firemen’s
Association of the State of Penna. Valor Award for actions at emergencies. Received Penna.
State Senate Lifesaving Citation. Planning Chief for Ready Bucks Exercise 2011.
